That depends on lots of things that you don't mention. Are you new with Vim, or are just new to PHP with Vim? A good document with many things about Vim in general but with many mentions to PHP specifically is this: http://zmievski.org/2007/02/vim-for-php-programmers-slides-and-resources/ Is probably outdated, but it was very inspiring for me a year ago. You probably should search (or ask) about the state of the art of each topic one at a time, and once you start getting used to the setup. If you are new to Vim, I would suggest you to learn first the basics that are common to all programming languages.
