Whatever I do, mouse or nomouse, keyboard, joystick... -) .. the ‘:reg’ command lets me see exactly what is going on.. And if I'm not sure I get to :reg a second time, even a third time for free.. I used to have problems with the different copypaste scenarios, but now that I use ‘:reg’ on a regular basis, I always seem to end up with the copied stuff available somewhere or other.
