Incidentally, although others have pointed out your likely problem, I also note 
that "<S-e>" in a mapping, i.e. "shift + e", is the same as just "E".

Besides the clearer mapping if you drop the special key syntax, I find it odd 
that you would want to lose the E command, to jump to the end of a WORD.
