After I got the recent update of Vim from my Linux distro repo The \zs \ze
seem to not be working now.

I use to do something like this:

I have a dog.

:s/I have a \zsdog\ze\./cat/
and get

I have a cat.

That seems to not replace dog with cat like it used to do. It doesn't seem
to respond correctly if it responds at all. Maybe I'm doing something
wrong. I haven't tried after I had a couple failures using them.
