See here: http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Setting_the_font_in_the_GUI BTW, I would suggest getting an even newer version of vim (either compile your own or install a newer package or backport), since currently I think we are at patchlevel 7.3.925 and I am guessing a Vim 7.4 release probably being released within the next few months (since we are running out of patch numbers).
