Hi, I am trying to get omni-completion working for java using javacomplete (http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=1785) on Ubuntu 12.04.4. I have spent many a day reading the helpdocs, vim wiki for javacomplete and searching on Google but with little success.
The problem is that I can't get omni-completion working for my own classes when I use classname.method format though it works for java's own classes. Please look here for two annotated screenshot examples about what I mean by the above statement: 1. http://imgur.com/a/umVTw 2. http://imgur.com/a/8yKrR Things I have tried: -Messed around with system classpath variable -Extensively messed around with javacomplete's various internal functions to modify classpath and sourcepath -Tried a few modified versions of the original javacomplete -Tried all this on cygwin and Ubuntu 12.04.4 -Made sure my vimrc contains the correct omnifunc and it is loaded in my file -Made sure that Reflection.java is compiled in the autoload directory Any direction is greatly appreciated.
