If you'd just said it that way in the first place, I'm sure there are
those on the list that have
build vim x64 w/perl. If not, I'm using my own compiled version on
linux -- with python, ruby perl and maybe lua if it was an option...
even though I don't use those other languages, I
wouldn't want to create a limited version -- and it really is for my own
use, though, I did feed
back any changes changes to openSuSE, who believe it is better to static
linking that requires
the ".so" libraries to be present at run time, or have the user not be
able to edit text, which I thought was so 'lame', (filed a bug on it and
was told "thank you for sharing")... and they still create a huge
monolith today.
