I don't have the answer to your question, but as you can see, new posters' messages are delayed, usually for several hours, until a moderator can have a look at them and either whitelist the author (if the messages are legitimate) or blacklist him (if they're spam).

This is maybe not ideal, but it's the only way we've found to keep these lists reasonably spam-free: at first, when the Vim groups were created, there was no moderation and anyone's posts appeared immediately; then spammers found out about these groups, with the results that you can imagine.

Now that a moderator (me, in this case) has allowed your messages, any further messages from you should appear within seconds. This of course doesn't mean that you may now also post spam and get away with it: if you did, sooner or later a moderator would notice it and ban you.

I'm writing this, not so much for your benefit but in the hope that future newbies will see it, and refrain from posting four copies of a single message within a quarter of an hour.

Best regards,
Tony.

Which of the following doesn't belong?
        a. meat
        b. eggs
        c. drum
        d. blowjob.

Answer:
d: A blowjob, because you can beat your meat, your eggs,
or your drum, but you just can't beat a blowjob.
