I'm a fan of TeX-9: http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=3508
It has very useful and clever mappings, but it's far simpler to use (and set up) than vim-latex. I modified it to indent verbatim code in a way I find more useful, and to recognise the \include* command (newclude package) and the \addbibresource (from biblatex). Both patches are available here: https://github.com/gauthma/myvim/tree/master/customizations Hope that helps,---Óscar Pereira
