I am using putty 0.62 from Windows 7 (64 bit) to connect to a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.4 running gvim 7.2. In short the set up is
Windows 7 -> putty -> Linux -> gvim When I copy text from gvim and paste it on the putty terminal, it works the very first time. In the subsequent rounds, if I copy text from gvim and paste it on the putty terminal, it pastes the text copied the very first time. I experimented with copying using mouse, using gvim Edit copy menu, copying in normal mode, insert mode. The behavior remains same. Instead of putty, I also tried using MobaXterm (Personal Edition 6.2). The behavior remains same. The problem does not show up if I use emacs (version 21.4) instead of vim. Here copy paste works the first time as well as in all the subsequent rounds. Has anyone experienced this issue? Any thoughts/comments/suggestions as to how to fix this? thanks raju -- Kamaraju S Kusumanchi http://malayamaarutham.blogspot.com/ -- -- You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
