it seems kinda old (2003). I suggest you to look for another plugin that does 
the same thing and is tested with the latest vim version. ultisnips 
(http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=2715) is famous AFAIK, but 
there other plugins as well which do the same thing, just have a look around 
and choose the one you like the most :)

"vim --version" will give you a nice list of the features and if your copy has 
them or not. inside vim you can also use the command :version (which may be 
more handy if i.e. you are using gvim under windows)
