Starting working in freebsd, I notice the experience of shell command (!) is quite different in linux.
for example, ":!python %" in linux will clear the screen first and show the output of previous command and after executing finished it returns to vim but, ":!python %" in freebsd will scroll vim screen up and output directly below vim gui without clear the screen and show the previous output. Someone in stackoverflow said ":!clear; xxx" could be useful if I want to clear the screen in freebsd, but it still can't show me the previous command output.
