Hi, In my attempt to execute (pure) VimL functions in the background (*) (which is quite difficult without thread-safety), I was thinking of executing my function on a second/remote vim server.
I know I could play with --remote-send and --remote-expr, but could I use job or channels instead? As far as I know, Vim isn't a TCP server that'll be waiting for whatever I could send to it. I'm not sure this is possible, but still I'm quite confident this scenario belongs to the ones that triggered this new extension. (*) I'm converting tag names into spellfile entries. -- Luc Hermitte, who isn't sure whether the question belongs to vim-dev or vim_use -- -- You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
