I use this command to remove undo files that haven't changed in a long
time:
command! -nargs=0 CleanUpUndoFiles !find ~/.vim/tmp/undo -type f -mtime
+100d -delete
This goes with this setting:
set undodir=~/.vim/tmp/undo
