Yes it works also as this :

*in vimfiles/helper/autoload/helper.vim*
export def TestExportedFunc(): void
  echomsg 'Exported Func Test is well imported and called for file ' .. 
expand("%:p")
enddef

*in _vimrc*
if has('autocmd')
  autocmd BufEnter *.h,*.cpp call that.TestExportedFunc()
