All; It's nice to see we're getting off to a good start. Here is some info concerning the setup of the configuration of the list as it currently stands which might come in handy and which can be changed as time goes by and needs dictate.
1. By default, everyone should be receiving messages as they are posted but this can be changed by each member for that member or at the request of the menber by the progenitor. This may be changed depending on circumstances and need. This can be changed depending on circumstances and need. 2. anyone can join the list. 3. only members can post. 4. only managers can make pages changes or upload files but this can be changed if need be. 5. only managers can view the list of members. 6. only managers can invite members. This can be changed depending on circumstances and need. 7. the list is unmodorated. This is not set in stone. 8. The list is archived and also has an rss feed. 9. [vimac-audio] is prepended to the subject line of each message posted to the list to help with filtering. 10. reply is set to reply to sender to help with list filtering and facilitate easy reply to individual questions. to reply to the group, it is necessary to fill the list address in to the to field or to reply to all which is discouraged since it results in a double post going to the originator of the message which spawned the reply. 11. The footer is the default and here we can be creative if we like. Please let me know by single reply to this thread if you have thoughts on the above.
