Hi boys and girls, As you know, people are tuning their instruments in either 440Hz or 442Hz. I have always used 440Hz, and was sure this was the most used standard. But here is what seems to be a problem in some situations: The instruments in GarageBand, and maybe in Logic as well is tuned in 442Hz, and as far as I have found, it is not possible to change to 440Hz. So what is the problem? Well, if you receive files with recordings people have done, and they would like you to add software instruments, the whole thing will sound out of tune if they originally tuned their instruments in 440Hz. Yeah, I can do some pitch correction, but maybe I do not want to do pitch correction, and would like to use the same Hz value as my clients..... Anyone who can confirm that the 442Hz in GarageBand is not possible to change? Do you use other standards in other countries?
