Hi Ginny, Well, I'm not sure that the software helped, however, we did installit. BTW it is not accessible. It does have a 12DB gain function but if you turn the mike gain up all the way and control the level from GB, which is the best way to do it anyway, it works great.
Headphone out and monitor works great. All in all, just what I need. And it looks like you can use more than one of these if you need more inputs.
