Hi, Ray, I'm afraid this reply isn't going to be of much help. I'm just writing to tell you that you're having the exact same problem I had with the Lame encoder and Audacity, and I even installed the encoder twice. And, I'm sorry to say that I never could find it. This fool problem caused me to give up with audacity completely. At least with Amadeus Pro you can save directly to mp3 without worrying about the encoder. I wish I could be of more help.
