As I said, Logic accessibility might be available this year. You can't get
anything now that works, unless you track down all of those old software
versions to use the partially working script approach. I wouldn't suggest that
unless you're patient and have lots of money. I've described that combo several
times, so you should be able to look it up in the archives.

Logic will be better for sequencing. The instruments are better.

Still, Pro Tools is available today. Maybe Logic will be available this
year. Cubase might be available next year. You can wait, but you could spend
your life waiting.

Brian,
Thanks for the info. Although I am very pleased with the release of the
accessible Pro Tools after such a long time and thought I would get it for
sure, but I am not so sure anymore since I read such good things about Logic
Pro...mainly from what you wrote about it on the midimag list. What do you
think is best or which is best for certain tasks?
Ronald

I hosted the list for the Pro Tools Access beta. There is now a second list
for people that just want to discuss Pro Tools from an accessibility
perspective. It's hosted on the Google Group PTAccess.

The group's web page is here:

Presently, we only know of the 8.04 update for Pro Tools LE being live on
Avid's site. MPowered and HD will soon follow, but Avid is just releasing
the update, so the others might take a few hours. This update is for many
other improvements besides just accessibility, so Avid is quite busy with
getting it out there. Please be patient.

Hi folks,

After doing a Dog pile search I did see a message stating that Pro Tools was
accessible. The message said that there would be a Pro Tools Accessible
list. If this list has come up, or, when it does, if some one would send me
the info, I sure would be grateful. I would like to see whats going on.

Thanks.
