I've been told by the list's admin that it is unacceptable to express a tone of frustration in my messages that my repeated attempts to thoughtfully and politely answer Chad's questions have been ignored. I don't plan to argue this point in public, since the list can be run by any strange set of standards that the owner decides. I've just decided that I don't want to deal with it anymore, when there are lots of other lists for audio production chat.
I also give permission to freely reproduce my old responses. When Chad re-asks next week if Logic is accessible, or if anyone knows how to use soundfonts with GarageBand, or if anyone knows how to chop up samples with GarageBand, or if anyone knows of any VSTs that work with GarageBand, so on and so on, and you know he will, feel free to search the archives and cut and paste my responses. The answers haven't changed, just like the questions haven't. Reposting my exact answers would be a funny bit of comic retort, though that's probably consider veiled sarcasm, which is also probably a personal attack. Good luck, everyone.
