Thank you for the response.
I think this would mainly be useful for the input mode, if input mode is
entered change the statusbar color, and change it back if the input mode is
left.
Vim also provides only autocmd events for the insert mode, but not for the
other mode changes. But maybe a browser and a editor are different in this
case.
