May I ask how it "gave out?"  I always thought those things were pretty robust.

No, I don't know him and haven't dealt with him, (anyone who has can jump in 
here) but it looks like he has been around a while.  And while I can't say I'd 
be willing to pay those kind of prices myself, he does have a few hard-to-find 
components.  At any rate, you'll have to check out his site/prices and decide 
for yourself: it's your dough.

Before you go that route, though, I'd try posting to LEM Swap:

I don't know what your chances are, (which is why I gave the above site) but 
it's worth trying first, if only because you're more likely to find what you 
need at a reasonable price if someone on the list does have it.
