I'd like to add one more: Those hexagonal adjustment tools that fit into adjustable ferrite cores in wound inductors, the horizontal control on an SE/30 is one of them, can crack the ferrite if you're not careful. Plastic tools will bend a bit but beryllium or ceramic tools will allow you to apply too much force especially of there is a drop of glue holding the core in place. It's also important to avoid magnetic materials for the hex tool. An "Allen" wrench might fit but the magnetic iron it's made of will affect the performance while it's in the core and make it impossible to make the adjustment. -- --> From the U S of A, the only socialist country that refuses to admit it. <-- --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Vintage Macs group.
