Sure, but it depends on your video card in the IIfx. The Apple 8-24GC card drives an LCD display fine through a Mac -> VGA adapter; HOWEVER the Sync-on-green issue with older Macs will cause a green tint in the display. The original Mac II "Apple High Definition" card does not appear to drive Lcd displays.
