Brad,
Thanks for replying.

Well, I have little expertise and no training, so please bear with me. I
know of two models; the Classic and the Classic II. They were marketed at
the same time, more or less. I supposed that they had the same floppy drive,
but I don't know this to be fact. Anyway, I have the former.

I do know my Classic (according to Wikipedia) included an Apple
SuperDrive<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SuperDrive> 3.5-inch
(9 cm) floppy disk drive <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floppy_disk_drive> as
standard.

I got my Classic from an ad on Craigslist. The ad was for a Mac clone that a
guy wanted to give to anyone that really appreciated the historical
significance of the Mac clones and wanted it. I answered the ad and went to
his house. When I got there, he said there was only one "catch". He said
that his wife wanted all of his old computer stuff gone. They needed the
shelf space. Amongst all the "computer stuff" was the Mac Classic in perfect
condition. Keyboard and mouse included along with a truckload of software
going back to system 6 and OS 7. The "catch" was that I had to take it all
home with me.

Anyway, the floppy drive stopped working a few months back and the internal
battery went dead about the same time. I have a new battery but I figured
that I might as well fix both problems at the same time.

Now, I am happy to pay you whatever you need for that floppy OR if you would
like me to send you a list of all the stuff that guy gave me, you can take
your pick. Your call.

Thanks again for replying,

David
