Well, I believe the Classic will boot with no battery at all.
It will just lose the parameter settings each time it is
shut off.

I believe my message said 3.6V, not 3.7. If you want to
try the higher voltage, go ahead. If the magic white
smoke escapes, however, you can't put it back in.
