Apparently, Apple stripped the machines of "their more valuable parts," first, 
before they gave the machines the heave-ho.  So what exactly you'd end up with 
if you were to track down the site and head out there with a pick and shovel is 
anyone's guess. :)

The sad part is that the tax write-off that Apple got from renting the landfill 
space in Logan, Utah made dumping $27 million dollars worth of Lisas more 
financially viable than trying to do anything else with the machines.  Of 
course, it's only fair to point out that the Lisas didn't actually hit the 
landfill until 1989 and, by that time, the machine had been discontinued by 
Apple for four years.
