How much is much may I ask ?

8.1 is nice for me on the 475. But 16MB is very tight. Isn't there 4MB
built in ? So if you have a 16 card then you have 20, but even that is
tight depending on what you are doing, a 32 definitely helps there.
Some people swear by 7.6 but for me not much better than 7.5.5, but
7.1 is more trouble than I want, I was trying it for speed but too
much hassles with extensions needed extra for later software which the
'040 cpu can run.

You might find some system6 software crashing on system7 and vice
versa
