Nah, I don't see how it could negatively affect my income. If he had
then linked to my FS posting, which would be topical for that page,
because the thing I'm selling are tantalum capacitors for old Macs, it
might positively affect my income. :-)
But really, the capacitor thing isn't a money making venture. I'm
more hoping to make my costs back some day. Folks would so regularly
show up on 68kmla asking where to buy replacement caps and then still
be rather confused when pointed at Digikey or Mouser (it can be
confusing to purchase them, if you're not familiar with electronics
supply), that I finally picked up some reels of the relevant caps and
started offering sets in hopes of simplifying things for people. And
I need to redo a bunch of my own boards, so having the caps on hand is
good that way, too.
The only thing that niggles at me about it, is that I put some effort
into the verbiage, and it'd be nice to get a little nod, but on the
other hand, the fact that it was lifted for use elsewhere is sort of a
nod.
