The slot-in iMac 350 doesn't do anything than expecting a new one... But worth a try always is cmd.-opt.-P-R (on older Macs). There are cheap solutions to replace the Rayovac batteries with 3 AA batteries. http://retromaccast.ning.com/photo/5400-board-g3 Lars
