USPS Money Orders can be cashed at your local post office.  Most 
others have to be deposited into your checking account, and go thru 
an extended clearing cycle.

Last year, I received one rubber personal check and two bogus money 
orders (non USPS) from customers.  That's a big reduction from 
previous years.

Never had a problem with any check or money order sent by someone on 
LEM Swap tho.
