Hi,

Do you have an external floppy drive you can use to test ?
If this works then it's unlikely that the FDD controller is faulty.

Do you hear to motor of the FDD when inserting a disk ? 
What happens then: is the floppy disk automatically ejected almost
immediately or does it mount ?

Are the capacitors already replaced on your logic board ?

Will check the supply next time I have a look, but another SE/30 board
works fine in the same case with the same floppy.
