Usually, fonts are controlled in the Control Panel. If it's just the fonts that
are big, you might check on the system settings first.
Some monitors support different resolutions, and it might be that the NEC
doesn't go as high as the Apple display. Check in the Monitor control panel
(The location depends on which OS you're running) and see what the resolution
is set to. Every monitor has it's "native" resolution, and will look best when
set to that.
