Bummer, yes I vaguely remember that. I have a SCSI CD drive with no enclosure so no way to connect it to the LC or IIci so the localtalk will have to do and so what in the day it was the real trick, I remember doing it from my Home office to machines at my shop overnight via ARA:-) Geez I still have a couple of GV Platinum modems lurking around but no land lines anymore.
