Does it have an ethernet network card ? It has a slot for one at least, you can still buy these on Ebay (for about $15US). You might want to check to make sure the slot is empty.
Then you need some software to transfer files. If your pc can server ftp (osX macs can) then you can use the Fetch program on the old mac. How you get Fetch to the old Mac -- perhaps someone on the list will send you a copy. Floppy through the mails shouldn't be too bad even from the US. A couple dollars postage.
