Hi all, As a teenager I collected old macs that I found in garage sales and kept them in storage, imagining that some day they'd be cool to display in the giant, art deco apartment I would *surely* inhabit in my 20's. Now, 15 years later, I don't live in said loft apartment and I have limited storage space. I've given away/recycled almost all of the macs I had, but I just couldn't part with the Macintosh Plus.
That said, I've vowed that, if I'm to keep it, it can't stay in storage any longer. It's simply too expensive (not to mention tiring every time I move!) to warrant keep a large, heavy object like the Mac Plus + various peripherals. So what are my options for displaying it? I'd prefer the screen to not just simply be blank. My first thought was: photo frame? Is there a screensaver that ran on the Mac Plus that displayed photos from a folder? I honestly can't remember how capable it was, graphically. Beyond that, I'm pretty much at a loss. There's always the Macquarium idea, but it pains me to destroy a (to the best of my knowledge) working Mac Plus. Suggestions? Thanks! -Aaron -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
