It sounds vaguely familiar. I remember using one called Basic Black.
I'm still in touch with him and a few years ago I asked him if he still had a copy of version 1, which ran on the original macs. He doesn't have it!

If the phosphors on your emulated screen burn in, just kill and relaunch the emulator. ;-)
