Hi, does anyone remember the Autoblack screensaver? It was the first,
or one of the first, Mac screensavers. The guy who wrote it was one
of my professors in the '80s, and all of us in the class who liked
macs were thrilled when he told us that.

It sounds vaguely familiar. I remember using one called Basic Black.

I'm still in touch with him and a few years ago I asked him if he
still had a copy of version 1, which ran on the original macs. He
doesn't have it!

:-(

Does anyone have this program, that they can stuff and send me? I
want to run it on my Plus and mini vMac.

If the phosphors on your emulated screen burn in, just kill and relaunch the emulator. ;-)
