I have several voice record files from Mac OS 7.0 and want to convert them to a form that Mac os x can recognize or change them to mp3. I have downloaded ResEdit which is supposed to make this possible. Does anyone know how to use ResEdit for this purpose?

So, what is the format of the "voice record" files from OS7? I wouldn't think the simply using ResEdit to change the creator code or some such would make the files readable. Seems like importing them into something like Audion would be required.
