Pardon my asking, but: where have you looked? I ask because I was under the impression (possibly mistaken) that eBay is positively awash in such old machines (assuming you're willing to put up with eBay, of course). >Anyone know where I could find one? A careful perusal of this page: http://lowendmac.com/lists/swap.html ...should tell you everything you need to know about subscribing to LEM Swap. If you're on a budget, and are willing to settle for a Performa, a WTB ("Want To Buy") post on the Swap List should get you what you're looking for at a reasonable price, particularly as some Performa models are known (though perhaps not widely known) as so-called "Road Apples": http://lowendmac.com/roadapples/index.shtml You might be able to pick up a Quadra off LEM Swap, but off the top of my head, I would say that Quadras in general seem to be more highly sought-after machines and the pricing may reflect that demand. Of course, that's merely a guess on my part and only a WTB post will tell you what's actually out there. :) Best, James Fraser -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
