I'm in the "do not stick hand inside running machine to bend the eject tab on the floppy" camp. Which is how it happened. I had to bend the tab a bit farther every few months. Also, the internal tube was broken, and I was living off my 19" external Ehman. I looked saw that the socket was off the back of the tube, and stuck my hand in.
