My CC has a very noisy fan and hard drive. I want to make it as quiet as possible. I have tired a few SSD solutions (SCSI to CF) but they either don't work at all, will only work as a non-boot drive or won't physically fit. Does anyone have a purchasable solution? That is, a solution that I can buy today, I have had a few solutions suggested that use hardware you can't buy anymore?
As for the fan, is there a fan out there that will fit and is quiet? Will both of these be worthwhile? For example, I have a IIgs that doesn't have a fan or HD but the humming, buzzing etc of the components make it pretty noisy anyway.
