Thanks for the tips.

It is, in fact, the version with the built-in Ethernet and 8MB RAM on board.

I'd hate to just pillage another Mac for a new power supply though... And
unfortunately I have none of those models in my "parts closet."

What to do, what to do...

I wonder if a generic modern day power supply could be retrofitted?
