You should be able to first check if its a 32 bit clean Rom first that will help narrow it down. I would bet it would be.

I have a probably one-of-a-kind ROM SIMM. When placed in my SE/30, a risk I took based on the age and shape of the ROM, it booted. There was nothing out of the ordinary about the operation with the SIMM clipped in. But the SIMM says Erickson ROM 1.04b, 6/19/90 each chip has a different ID number on it's paper. The paper also says Apple Confidential then @Apple 1983-90. The Green Board says on its back Apple Computer and is dated 1988. The chips are Intel dated 1986. it is possible that this SIMM fits a IIfx. Or one of a few other Vintage Macs that use a clip-in ROM. Wherever it belongs, and whatever it's purpose, is a mystery. I'm looking for the most expert of people to help identify this really rare piece. No guess-timates, please. This really is a problem for the best of the best of Apple Historians. J.S.
