The CD-ROM drive on my Performa stopped working, and I obtained a reportedly functional replacement. It is a newer model; a Mitsushita Model CR-508-B mfg. in 1997, and has a different set of jumpers on the back, including two that the old drive did not have. They are labeled, in order: 1,2,4, parity, sector size, terminator, and term. power. I'm puzzled by the first three, because I thought the max. no of SCSI devices was 6, and I have no idea how the other four should be set I would appreciate some help, but I'm not very technical, so plain English is necessary. Thank you.
