<https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-UzvSc49Tj24/VKyE5nFWoYI/AAAAAAAAABI/Q58SbqOhwWs/s1600/CAP-C203.jpg> Hi Guys,
Happy New Year! I'm just asking again if anyone can help me identify the voltage rating of this capacitor. It's from a Sony APS-06 (Mac IIsi PSU). There are three of these, one on the primary side of the PSU and two on the secondary side. They are all royal blue in colour with the characters 224V stamped on them. They are located at C104, C203 and C251. The value is 22x10^4 which gives 0.22uF but the V is not a standard tolerance indicator and I think it may be a manufacturer mark (Vishay perhaps?) The locations are a bit tight for space and the dimensions are 7(W) x 5.5(H) x 4(D) (dimensions in mm) Lead pitch is 5mm. C203 has broken and the other two show cracks in their casings. All of the Electrolytic caps around C203 have already boiled over. I looked at 220-250V variants but the dimensions are all too large. C203 is especially tight depth wise with just enough room for 5mm(D) x 10mm(W) maximum. I looked at Bomarc but I only need two pages and I cannot think of any other pages I might need. All my other Macs are working fine. The cost therefore (and their minimum spend) is uneconomic. If anyone has a pin out / service diagram for the Sony APS-06 with values and ratings for C203 (or C104, C251 - they're all the same), I'd be grateful for the information.
