I tried that and it worked and I did this before you sent me the message. But the message is still helpful because it could give me ideas of the disk read error because the first day I got the Macintosh it worked with booting with a floppy disk then I tried to load MS Word then It would not read it then someone helped me eject it the hard way then after that it didn't properly read floppy's again.
