I had to do this once. In my case the computer would startup normally till it got to booting the floppy, then it would restart and repeat the process. The load from the floppy drive dragged down the power supply and the 5V line dropped too low, causing a reset. Adjust the power supply adjustment potentiometer slowly till the 5V line reads 5.00V on a voltmeter.
