Sounds like the Fonts disk. :) I've heard that you
can use a program called RAWRITE which works in DOS
mode or in a DOS session under windows. RAWRITE
is available from most Linux sites like
ftp.slackware.org You'll need to decode the image from
BinHex (HQX extention) or MacBinary (BIN extention)
before using RAWRITE. WinZip can decode HQX.
Apparently with Disk Copy images, the resource fork
is only needed by Disk Copy, the actual disk data
is all in the resource fork. I suppose the main
thing DC uses the resource for for is stashing the
checksum info. Unfortunately it has no option to
"Just mount the #@%@ image anyway!" No resource fork
on your image file, Disk Copy no worky. :P
