I am trying to get a IIsi going, but keep getting met with defeat. I
replaced the hard drive because of the blinking question mark. Still the
computer didn't recognize a SCSI disk. Other World Computing sent hard
drive with hard drive jumpers "for the setting of SCSI ID and termination
mounting screws "(I didn't understand where to put these). Anyway, I put
one of the jumpers in a plug called AO. Now the hard drive is being found,
but now the message that it is locked is appearing. Also the manual talks
about changing the ID number on the SCSI device by using a paperclip on the
ID number indicator. Can't find this either. OH, boy. I'm trying to help
out an elderly friend who wants to get on the internet. Haven't help her
very much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
